!Deja-vu

Little K (my nephew age 5) was sitting in the verandah of his house. Generally a mischievous and excited K was all dull and morose, as if he has failed some IAS exams…… I just went up to him and asked what the matter was.
K was all short of crying to say “I am feeling very sad”. Akka was around and she came to K to comfort him. K said, “I am feeling sad….”
I asked, “but why?”
to whick K replied, “because I am not there in amma and daddy’s wedding fotos!”.
Ohhhhh BOY! What a reason to sulk on?
I was nonplussed. I have never had such a doubt b4 to answer his question…..

Little B (cousin's daughter age 3), (she looks like a doll) goes to a shopping mall. Her amma and daddy are busy buying vegetables.
B saunters upto the fruit vendor and asks, “I…… I want a baby sister!”.
(Guffaw…. Ha ha ha …..$^%^&*$.........I think I could n’t contain my laughter on this!) (I can hardly imagine how the vendor must have reacted!).
Baap re, does B think they bought her from a fruit vendor??
The vendor it seems retorted, “Ask your mom & dad baby!”

Boy! I think when I was little B’s age, I thot papas’ gave birth to baby boys and mamas’ gave birth to baby girls.

Little S1 (age 7) and S2 (age arnd 7) met at my bro’s wedding. Both gizmo-freaks they, began flaunting their knowledge. Minutes later, little men were exchanging fone numbers to discuss more abt potential joint ventures…… (Btw…. don’t miss Little Men a novel written by May Alcott…. The movie is even better!).

Give me a break! I dint even know how a fone had to be used when I was their age.

I think formative years of a human's life (say 1-15) are the most interesting! How I wish I could time-travel back to those traversed terrains and mite b stock up all the fun that I mite have missed then (given that we get to watch so many cartoon channels on TV and play so many computer games!)?
